Conscious Leadership is sponsored by the Conscious Leadership Guild, a member-driven non-profit focused both on active member engagement and public benefit activities at the forefront of conscious leadership. We recognize that leadership based on love, spirituality, and consciousness is urgently needed today in our organizations, our communities, and the world at large. We aim to embody and ignite the call to lead with love by reawakening our connection to Source, each other, and life.

We believe Heaven on Earth is possible now. To get there, we’ll need a critical mass of skilled, conscious leaders who listen and respond to Source and allow Source to act through them. Thus, the Guild acts as a sanctuary, a transformational space, to inspire a flourishing world in which compassion grows and suffering decreases, and where being and doing are in balance.

As an example of the Guild’s public benefit activities, we have created this website to actualize our purpose, support the Guild community, and invite everyone, everywhere, to join a dynamic exploration of conscious leadership. We welcome the freshness of your diverse viewpoints and the deep feeling of connection that we can all experience through the intelligence of our hearts.

PURPOSE

The Conscious Leadership Guild’s overarching purpose is twofold:

1. To serve as a sanctuary for each member to share their wisdom and life experiences with each other as a co-learning community through love, directed learning, and co-creation.
2. To foster more conscious leadership throughout the world, with a sincere focus on the urgent need for people in the general public to be skilled, conscious leaders who listen to Source and allow Source to act through them in their lives, work, communities, and society-at-large.

MESSAGE FROM THE GUILD’S FOUNDER

John Renesch (1940-2022) founded the Guild in 2018. Here is a short video in which John speaks about his vision for creating a world that works for all while addressing the mega-crises we’re facing today: the need for conscious leadership that uplifts us from a paradigm of fear and separateness to one of compassion and interconnectedness.

MISSION AND VISION

The Guild provides gathering spaces, programs, and services that assist Guild Members on their journey through conscious awareness and conscious leadership while facilitating the Guild’s Mission and Vision:

• Mission. The Guild’s mission is to inspire and provide co-learning educational opportunities about conscious leadership that actively awakens human consciousness about the experiential, essential connection of Source, humankind, and thriving existence.
• Vision. The Guild’s vision is a world that works for all, where compassion ascends and suffering decreases, where human being and human doing are in balance, and where humankind consciously evolves to exist and create a world focused on love, life, and flourishing.

MEMBERSHIP

It is the express intention of the Guild that Guild Membership is diverse and inclusive, fostering a sense of belonging for current and potential Guild Members. The Guild’s Membership base spans the globe with diverse Members from many different backgrounds, professions, and cultures.

Any person dedicated to the purpose of the Guild is eligible for Membership in the Guild. The Guild does not and will not discriminate in its Membership decisions on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.

Prospective Guild Members may apply for Membership in the Guild through a process that features conversations that enable Prospective Members to:

• Learn about the Guild’s culture and activities for co-learning with each other and uplifting the “conscious leadership movement” in the world
• Describe their interests and motivation for engaging and growing in conscious leadership in their lives and work
• Share how they might participate in and contribute to the Guild’s overall Purpose

MAKING THE MOST FROM BEING A MEMBER

Historically, craft guilds emphasized a hierarchy of knowledge and experience, with master craft-persons mentoring apprentices. However, members of the Conscious Leadership Guild believe that everyone has a unique purpose, experience, knowledge, and insights that others can learn from – irrespective of age and life/professional experience.

Thus, the Guild is an active “co-learning community built around “the joy and practice of leadership and based in love, spirituality, and consciousness.” The overarching concept of co-learning includes 3 practices:

• Co-mentoring, where each member is providing wisdom and experience to the other.
• Co-coaching, where each member is facilitating the other, each drawing out the internal wisdom and experience of the ‘other’.
• Co-venturing, where members are exploring new territories of learning while embracing ambiguity and the profound mystery of it all.

Five activities that optimize the value of participating in the Guild include:

• Becoming aware of one’s inner “calling” and intentions for engaging in co-learning dialogue and exploration
• Identifying topic areas of interest, including the various special interest groups
• Reaching out and connecting with people you want to co-learn with
• Taking the initiative to start new interest groups and participating in existing groups
• Offering one’s expertise and “learning edge” through workshops within the community and/or with the public.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

The Guild champions diversity and inclusivity through its dynamic Special Interest Groups (“SIGs”). These vibrant hubs unite individuals with a shared passion for sustainable business practices, mindful communication, and holistic leadership development. Examples of SIGs include:

• Conscious Leadership Education
• Deep Transformational Conversations & Exploring Enlightenment
• Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Accessibility+ (DEIBA+)
• Ecological Action Special Interest Group (EASIG)
• Essence of Theory U and Application Conversation
• Exploring the Feminine Dimensions of Conscious Leadership
• Love as “Being + Action”
• Renormaling (envisioning a new “normal” for our cultures)

New Special Interest Groups can be initiated by any Guild members at any time.

COMMUNITY STRUCTURE

The Guild embraces a non-hierarchical structure for supporting the co-learning community, best portrayed as a circular mandala rather than a hierarchical pyramid:

The Center Circle and the Coordinating Circle are charged with overseeing and coordinating the direction, structure, and collaboration flowing synergistically within the Guild. The outer petals represent the Special Interest Groups as well as groups focused on various operational activities, such as Membership and Programs.

These various groups offer members many opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing, contributing to the guild’s overarching mission of cultivating conscious, empathetic, and impactful leaders.

INCLUSIVE GOVERNANCE

The Guild’s approach to governance is consciously diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible. This approach creates open space for communication of differing perspectives, beliefs, emotions, and styles of expression during decision-making – thus supporting conscious participation and leadership among Guild Members and Conscious Governance in the Guild.
